Crown Aesthetics appoints new head in UK and Ireland

Aesthetic manufacturer Crown Aesthetics has appointed Reena Sandhu as Head of Aesthetics, Marketing and Operations in the UK and Ireland.

Sandhu has worked for SkinPen Precision for two years with its previous distributor BioActiveAesthetics. Since April 12, Crown Aesthetics has distributed SkinPen into the UK and Ireland market.

The SkinPen Precision is a class IIa medical device to create controlled micro-injuries to stimulate the body’s natural wound-healing response and remodel scar tissue. According to the company, the microneedling device is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and through clinical trials aims to improve the appearance of facial acne scars of young adults and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the face and neck. The device also treats pigmentation conditions such as melasma, vitiligo and solar lentigines.

Sandhu commented, “I am delighted to be part of the Crown Aesthetics team, continuing to support the SkinPen Precision brand in the UK and Ireland. We have a lot of new and exciting plans in the pipeline for our new and existing customers and I am looking forward to future growth and new announcements.”

Crown Aesthetics will be exhibiting at CCR on October 14 and 15.
